The Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer ("MWCABC") is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit corporation founded in 1997 to unite the women of Manhasset, Long Island in the fight against breast cancer. MWCABC is primarily dedicated to raising money in support of breast cancer research and education, with the goal of ultimately eradicating this disease. MWCABC participates in various fundraising events throughout the year and hosts several signature events, including our Ladies’ Night Out, 5K Family Walk/Run and "Swing for a Cure" tennis outing. Through these and other MWCABC events, we have succeeded in awarding more than $1.2 million in grants to breast cancer programs and organizations, including Columbia University Medical Center, the Weill Cornell Breast Center, North Shore-LIJ Health System, the Susan Love MD Breast Cancer Foundation, New York University’s Cancer Institute, the Adelphi New York Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center .

MWCABC also works to provide resources for those touched by breast cancer, including its
OUTREACH PROGRAM as well as information found in the RESOURCES and EVENT CALENDAR sections of this website.

MWCABC’s success has been made possible through the dedication and determination of our talented volunteer members. We hope that you will join us in our fight.
