SHARE

Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation

The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation (TNBC) is a nationwide organization that “strives to be a credible source for triple negative breast cancer information, a catalyst for science and patient advocacy and a caring community with meaningful services for patients and their families”. TNBC has partnered with CancerCare to offer free, professional support services to patients and families coping with a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer. The TNBC Helpline is staffed by experienced oncology social workers with specific knowledge of triple negative disease. In addition to counseling, TNBC Helpline staff can direct callers to other useful resources such as a financial assistance program, support groups and educational workshops.

United Breast Cancer Foundation

United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) is a nationwide organization that provides financial assistance offering several programs including:
- Individual grant: For women in active treatment or within 3 years of remission, grant covers living
expenses including rent, utilities, car payments, etc.
- Holistic grant: For women in active treatment or survivors up to 10 years out, grant covers holistic treatment(s) including nutritional counseling, energy healing, wigs, prostheses, etc.
- Child sponsorship grant: For women in active treatment or up to 3 years in remission, grant covers costs that are specifically for children, including child care, clothing, child’s medical bills, etc.

Applicants may apply to more than one grant. Note that each grant application requires submission of date and nature of diagnosis along with income verification as proof of eligibility. There is a $25 application fee per grant that will be paid back through the grant. If the applicant is not able to pay the fee, contact the foundation directly to explain the situation.
